Sara is the International Scholar Coordinator in ISSS and works with visiting international scholars and student-interns at the University of Minnesota on J-1 visas. Prior to working at ISSS, Sara worked for a non-profit organization in London securing temporary accommodation for refugees and asylum seekers across the United Kingdom. She has a B.A. in Political Science from Hamline University, Saint Paul, MN and an M.A. in International Relations from the University of York, York, United Kingdom. Both of her degrees specialize in human rights and immigration.

In her spare time Sara enjoys traveling, paddle boarding, videography, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog!
