    NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
    1. ISSS SEVIS AND HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

    Next week, on Tuesday, December 23, ISSS will be closed to the public during the morning only, due to SEVIS processing. ISSS will be open to the public during the afternoon from 1:00 to 4:15 p.m. Please note that document check for new students/scholars and document pick-up will begin at 1:00 p.m.
    Please remember that ISSS will be closed on additional days during the winter holiday season. Please see the ISSS web site for details.
    Please plan accordingly. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your continued patience as we continue with SEVIS compliance. Enjoy the holidays!

    2. SPECIAL REGISTRATION WEB PAGE UPDATED

    ISSS has revised and updated its Special Registration web page to include the recent change in regulations. If you are subject to Special Registration, please go to ISSS Web Site.

    3. F-1 STUDENTS: SAME-DAY TRAVEL SIGNATURES

    If you are leaving the U.S. you need a valid travel signature on your I-20. This service usually takes two days. ISSS is offering travel signatures on a "Same-Day" basis on the following days: December 16 and December 29. "Same-Day" service requires that you bring some additional documents. "Same-Day" service is not available to students under certain conditions. Please see the ISSS web site for details BEFORE coming for a "Same-Day" travel signature.

    4. INTERNATIONAL HEALTH ADVOCATE ONLINE NEWSLETTER

    The second edition of the International Health Advocate online health newsletter for international students may be found at IHA (click on IHA Newsletter #2). This week's newsletter includes information on how to contact an International Health Advocate; this edition's poll question - What stresses you the most? and information about stress and how to manage it.
