NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. ATTENTION ALL F-1 AND F-2 VISA HOLDERS!!

At this time, ISSS has begun processing new SEVIS I-20s for all F-1 and F-2 visa holders This must be completed for you before July 31, 2003.

If you do not plan to travel outside the U.S. during June or July, please wait to receive an e-mail from ISSS, with an attached SEVIS I-20 Request questionnaire This e-mail is being sent to F-1 students in large groups, according to home countries in alphabetical order CAREFULLY read and follow the instructions included with the on-line questionnaire, before completing it.

If you plan to travel outside the U.S. during June or July, please come as soon as possible to see the F-1 Document Specialist during Walk-in hours Please see the ISSS web site for Walk-in hours.

Thank you for your patience ISSS will process your document as soon as possible.

2. F-1 CURRICULAR/OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING WORKSHOP, FRIDAY, JUNE 6

Attend one of these workshops to find out everything you need to know about Curricular and Optional Practical Training! Pick up the forms that you need, ask questions, and learn from your fellow studentsŐ questions as well This workshop is from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Humphrey Center, room 289 CPT information begins at 2:00 p.m., and OPT at 3:00 p.m.

3. NEW SUMMER WALK-IN SCHEDULE

The F-1 and J-1 Advising Walk-in schedule has changed for the summer During June and July, F-1 and J-1 Advising Walk-ins will not be held on Fridays.

The F-1 and J-1 Advising Walk-in hours will remain the same as spring semester on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday The schedule for August has not been determined yet. Please see the ISSS web site for Walk-in details and updates:

The J-1 Document Specialist Walk-ins (cancelled through June 6) and F-1 Document Specialist Walk-ins will remain the same during the summer
