3. FINANCIAL AID FORMS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR
2002-2003

International Student Financial Aid Forms for the 2002 - 2003 Academic Year are now available. To pick one up, please stop by ISSS in Room 190 Humphrey Center. For more details on the International Student Financial Aid Program,
please check Financial Aid Program at ISSS website.

4. NRAWARE NON-RESIDENT TAX PREPARATION SOFTWARE IS NOW
AVAILABLE!

NRAware non-resident tax preparation software is available to all University of Minnesota- Twin Cities students, scholars, and staff. To login, go to nraware.com and click the link to the left of the home page that states "NRAware!Online". This year the program is totally web-based. No need to download software!

Students sponsored by a sponsoring agency should contact that agency to learn about tax procedures and services specific to the organization.
ISSS staff are not trained to answer tax questions and are legally unable to address individual tax concerns.

5. INDIVIDUAL TAX ASSISTANCE WORKSHOPS

Individual Tax Assistance Workshops for non-residents are now available for on-line registration. Workshops will be offered from 6:00 – 9:00 PM Thursday evenings until April 11th in the Business Reference Room of Wilson Library. If the registration is full, you may get on a waitlist by going IN PERSON to the Wilson Library at 6:00 PM on the night of the help session. Click her to connect to the web-based sign-up.

Tax Assistance Workshops and the web-based sign-up are provided by independent volunteers. ISSS does not have ability to view or change registrations. If you need to change your session, simply sign up for a new session and the previous registration will be cancelled automatically.

6. MARKETING INTERNSHIP AVAILABLE (non-paid)

Looking for a great opportunity to practice your marketing and advertising skills and gain experience? Interested in helping ISSS raise funds for the International Student Handbook?

ISSS currently is searching for an intern to secure ads from the University and local businesses for the Fall 2002 International Student Handbook. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and PageMaker required. Knowledge of Mac environment preferred.
