NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. FALL 2005 F/J WALK-IN SCHEDULE
During Walk-In hours, you can meet with an adviser for up to 15 minutes. You must sign up for the Walk-In list at the reception desk. Advisers will then see people on a first-come, first-served basis. We will be offering Walk-In times every afternoon as well as Wednesday and Thursday mornings during the fall semester. The ISSS Fall Walk-In schedule will be posted on our web page later this week at:

2. ISSS CLOSED: MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
On Monday, September 5, ISSS and the University will be closed in recognition of Labor Day. Please plan your visits to ISSS accordingly. Please see the ISSS web site for office hours and Walk-in service hours:

3. F-1 & J-1 STUDENTS: TURN IN “REDUCED COURSE LOAD” FORMS IMMEDIATELY
If you are an F-1 or J-1 student taking less than a full course of study Fall 2005 semester, you are required to fill out a "Reduced Course Load" form before the semester begins. If for any reason you are not registered full-time (including CPT, OPT, Academic Training, 0999 registration), you must fill out the form, have it signed by your academic adviser, and submit it to an ISSS adviser during Walk-In hours by Friday, September 2. If you do not file the form by then, it could have serious consequences for your immigration status.
