1. END OF THE YEAR & GRADUATION CELEBRATION ON MAY 6!
Come and join us fora special SMALL WORLD COFFEE HOUR: End of the Year and Graduation Celebration! Celebrate all of your accomplishments, adventures, and happy events this year with your colleagues, friends and family! Enjoy: Live music by the band Touareg

If you are graduating, you are invited to wear your graduation cap and gown. No reservation needed!

2. F-1 CURRICULAR/OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING WORKSHOP: WED, MAY 4
Attend one of these workshops to find out everything you need to know about Curricular and Optional Practical Training! Obtain the forms that you need, ask questions, and learn from your fellow students' questions as well. This workshop is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Heller Hall, room 110. CPT information begins at 1:30 p.m. and OPT at 2:30 p.m. Please see the ISSS Career Series web site for the Spring 2005 schedule and workshops details.
3. CAREER WORKSHOP: H-1 B1 VISA INFORMATION SESSION - THURS, MAY 5Learn about H-1 B1 visas. An overview will be given of the eligibility requirements, application process, and timeline needed. The recent changes in H-1 B1 visas and the possible considerations related to the changes will be discussed.

4. INTERNATIONAL HEALTH ADVOCATES SUMMER SCHEDULE
The International Health Advocates, a Culture Corps program (co-sponsored by ISSS), have finished a very successful year and will no longer be available to help you with your health questions again until classes start in September. As always please call Boynton Health Service at 612-625-8400 and staff will be able to help you.

6. CHANGE IN HOURS & WALK-INS ON MAY 6 ONLY
On Friday, May 6, due to the “End of the Year and Graduation Celebration,” ISSS will not have the usual hours. On May 6 only, ISSS hours will be:
- Office hours: 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. only.
- No F and J Walk-ins.
Please plan your visits to ISSS accordingly. For F and J Walk-in hours for other days, please see Walk-ins Hours.
Please note: On Friday, May 6, ISSS and the Office of International Program will host the “End of the Year & Graduation Celebration” for international students and scholars. You’re invited! For details, please see Repeated Announcement #1 near the end of this ISSS Weekly Update.
7. CULTURE CORPS PROGRAM INFORMATION & DEADLINES!
What IS Culture Corps?? The goal of Culture Corps is for international students to assist faculty and departments in providing international perspectives in departmental or classroom activities. Culture Corps Projects can be initiated by students, faculty or staff! To get started, set up an appointment with Nancy O'Brien or Barbara Kappler SOON to begin talking about your idea. Call 612-626-7100 to make an appointment. Final Deadline for Fall 2005 Culture Corps Applications is August 26!
