NEW ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. ISSS CLOSED ON MARCH 22

On Tuesday, March 22, ISSS will be closed to the public all day. Significant construction will occur in central parts of the office. On other days, before and after March 22, all services will take place as usual. Please plan your visits to ISSS accordingly.

2. CAREER WORKSHOP:H-1 B1 VISA INFORMATION SESSION -- TUESDAY, MARCH 8

Learn about H-1 B visas. An overview will be given of the eligibility requirements, application process, and timeline needed. The recent changes in H-1 B1 visas and the possible considerations related to the changes will be discussed.

Note: The next Career Workshop will also be about H-1 B1 Visas. The Spring 2005 Career Workshop schedule is every Tuesday afternoon from February 8 to March 8 in Anderson Hall Room 370, and April 20 and May 5 in Heller Hall Room 110. Topics include resume-writing, interviewing, visa options, etc. Detailed information is available on the ISSS Career Services web page.

3. F-1 CURRICULAR/OPTIONAL PRACTICAL TRAINING WORKSHOP: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9

Attend one of these workshops to find out everything you need to know about Curricular and Optional Practical Training! Obtain the forms that you need, ask questions, and learn from your fellow students' questions as well. This workshop is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. in Heller Hall, room 110. CPT information begins at 1:30 p.m. and OPT at 2:30 p.m. Please see the ISSS Career Series web site for the Spring 2005 schedule and workshops details.
