DIVERSITY VISA LOTTERY (FOR U.S. PERMANENT RESIDENCE)

Instructions are now available for the State Department's next Diversity Visa Lottery. The Diversity Visa Lottery provides a method for obtaining U.S. lawful permanent residence (green card status). Up to 50,000 green cards are granted this way each year. A detailed description of the lottery and instructions for applying are available online.

The deadline for applying is December 3, 2006
