Ms. Yukiko Shimmi
Yukiko is the coordinator of the Small World Coffee Hour
program. She works with a team of international students and different
student organizations at the university to facilitate cultural
learning experiences for students, staffs, and faculty. As a program
coordinator of SWCH she wants to contribute to promoting the cultural
diversity and create a sense of community and inclusivity in the
university. She is currently a candidate for Masters in Educational
Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Her concentration is in
counseling and student personnel psychology in higher education
settings. She also holds a Bachelors of Arts in human relations from
Keio University in Japan.
