J-1 SEVIS Forms and Instructions
These forms and instructions will lead you through the procedures
for getting your J-1 SEVIS documents and assuring compliance with
the SEVIS system and regulations.
New J Visa Requirements!
1.Three to four weeks processing time needed documents
for newly coming J-1 Scholars.
2. Two to four weeks processing time needed for documents for continuing J-Students and scholars.
3. UMN has a mandatory
insurance requirement for all J-1s and J-2s
