If you are a University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus international student or scholar (or the family member), you may make an appointment with an ISSS counselor to discuss career-related issues such as:

  • job search strategies and resources for the U.S.
  • job search strategies and resources for your home country
  • how to write a resume
  • resume critique
  • how to prepare for an interview
  • participation in a mock or practice job interview
  • work authorization
  • how to choose a major
  • how to choose a career
To make an appointment, call ISSS at (612) 626-7100 and ask for an appointment for career counseling. Appointments are confidential and private.
