Employment Resources

The University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus has many different offices and departments that offer career, employment, and placement services and resources. For additional information , contact Alisa Eland, ISSS, 626-7100.

College-Specific Career Service Centers

Each college has its own career/placement office . Most of them offer career counseling, job search materials such as sample resumes, job postings for companies and organizations in that field, employer information such as annual reports for companies, and additional on-line resources. Contact the career office for your college to find out what resources and services it has available.

U of MN Jobs Line
Provides current job postings by calling 612-664-9660 Monday through Friday, 7a.m. to 7p.m. New vacancies are recorded or posted daily, with the most current listed first.

Search For H1-B Employers
The University of Minnesota has purchased access to H1base.com, a database of employers who have applied for H-1B visas for their international employees. You can use H1base.com to search for U.S. employers who may be interested in using the H-1B visa for future hiring.
