J Visa Information Sessions:
The J Visa Team at International Student and Scholar Services invites department administrators to an information session regarding the processes of inviting and hosting international scholars and professors. The information sessions will cover the following:
- Where do I begin?” – The first steps of inviting a scholar
- Who does what? ISSS’s role, a department’s role, a scholar’s role
- What is a J Visa and how does it differ from other visas?
- Department Request for DS-2019 – The daunting application and how to complete it
- The scholar is here, now what?
- Open forum for questions
